Description Thiago R. Santos 2010-09-08 08:56:22 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: FreeBSD

When the space key is pressed for the next unread text, that should act more like a page down, showing a few lines from the text which was at the botton before the shorcut was pressed. The way it is done now makes e-mail a little hard to read and every other e-mail client I've used have the behavior I'm suggesting. Thank you.

Reproducible: Always

OS: FreeBSD (amd64) release 8.1-RELEASE
Compiler: cc

On a related note, shift+space should allow you to go back within a e-mail, so the user is not required to look for the page up key.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
