When compositing is enabled, the slideshow doesn't work (i.e. either does not show any images at all or shows only parts of images). When compositing is disabled, slideshow works normally.

Reproducible: Always




Compositing type: XRender
OpenGL mode: Texture from pixmap
Allow direct rendering: on

Graphics Hardware (output of lspci): 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

Might also be a bug in kwin, but I have no idea how to tell.

It seems, that fullscreen in general doesn't work. I.e. okular, does not work properly for pdf presentations if desktop effects are enabled.

After updating to kde 4.5 this problem disappeared.
