I can confirm this behavior when using Konqueror with KHTML part. When using kwebkitpart, the site remains responsive, though still no emails or folders can be opened. An error shows at the top of the email listing pane: "We can't connect to Windows Live Hotmail right now. Please make sure that you're connected to the Internet and try again." This also happens in Rekonq. KDE 4.5.3 Arch Linux *** Bug 266600 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Still exists in KDE 4.8 and this happens in rekonq as well.
