What did cmake log say which Auth backend kdelibs was building? KDE4_AUTH_BACKEND_NAME:STRING=POLKITQT-1 cmake finds polkitqt-1 for the Auth backend. Which lead me to wonder if there was something not quite right with the polkit install I have. After doing more googling and pondering, I discovered that polkit seems to have a runtime dependancy on ConsoleKit. After installing ConsoleKit and adding the line /usr/bin/ck-launch-session startkde to ~/.xinitrc, systemsettings works as expected. :) Thanks for the update. |
