I was dragging a file to a folder in single cloumn view.  I missed the folder while dragging and moved the mouse over the arrow between the folder names at the top of the column.  The pop up list of folders persisted after i moved my mouse off.  When I cliked on the dolphin window again to try and get rid of the pop up dolpin crashed.
