Sentry Crash Report:

Description Mohd Asif Ali Rizwaan 2010-09-01 18:28:02 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

the drag and drop feature in "Application tab" of kickoff menu, is behaving strangely. Normally, when we 'release the left mouse button' the 'dragging' stops. but here the 'icon/menu item' is 'ready to be dragged' even after mouse button release.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click kickoff
2. click or hover on "Applications" tab
3. try dragging any item in 'application's menu say, "help" by clicking on it and drag a bit (just a few pixels when dragging we can see dragging is being done)
4. leave the mouse-button, we can see that 'even after releasing the mousebutton, the item follows the mouse cursor'

Expected Results:
all other 'tabs' in kickoff behaves properly with drag operation.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

Yep, and it was worse when it did not respect the drag distance. I always ended up "dragging" stuff from the menu to the desktop because only clicking somewhere would let it go.

But I use classic menu now :)
