I encounter several eyecandy probls when using kwin 4.5.00 (btw I couldn't specify a version newer than 4.3.2 at bugs.kde.org for kwin). I'm not quite shure whether these are independent probls or whether they are related:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. right click on desktop
-> the popup menu does not have a shadow
as soon as you go to another line which popups another menu and leave again the missing shadow gets rendered.

---

1. Fireup Dolphin or any other app whith menus.
2. Open up a pull down menu
-> same behaviour as with the popup menu
After moving around from menu to menu the shadows are rendered but they are not nicely faded in as the menu itself.
