Description Miro Kropacek 2010-08-31 09:01:31 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

I'm finally able to reproduce (and fix) this issue -- I use auto-login feature of Kopete, along with KWallet integration. Normally, KWallet is started before Kopete, I enter my 'master password' and when creating ICQ & MSN accounts in Kopete, it's stored well.

After next reboot I again enter KWallet password and Kopete will take needed account credentials for ICQ and MSN.

But, when I click CANCEL on KWallet dialog, dialogs for ICQ and MSN will appear. So far so good. Since I really don't want to mess with passwords, I again click cancel (on both, ICQ and MSN dialogs). After next reboot, MSN ignores KWallet -- it always shows its dialog for login/passwd.

It's certainly bug in MSN plugin because ICQ works well in this situation. Only possible workaround is to delete stuff in ~/.kde/<path to kopete settings> and re-enter my ICQ/MSN account details again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
