I hate the new default view with the “apple-ish” volume circle, so I use the nice slim toolbar.
But: The volume slider is a popup menu only.
There should be an option to permanently display it (as a horizontal slider) next to the progress slider.
My screen is 1920 pixels in width, there‘s no need to hide it.
