Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE 4.4.2)

Luciano

Hello friends.

I'm having trouble using digikam version 1.2.0 by connecting the camera
Nikon D90 on the computer and run digikam to download the photos is the same
very slow and consuming too much CPU for this.

In the status bar appears on the dungeon "by turning the picture" and long before
move from one to another.

In version 1.1.0 there was no such delay.

I do not believe that setting because I even copy the file
~ / .kde / Share / config / digikamrc version 1.1.0 to 1.2.0 and use in anyway
the problem persisted.

Also disables the automatic rotation in the machine to see if solve the
problem and still continued.

If anyone has a solution to the problem thank you.

Short summary: Camera UI is slow, when listing pictures from the camera.

I guess we can confirm this problem, it was demonstrated at the coding sprint.
Intended solution: Write a model and use a Qt4-style view class in the Camera UI.

Fixed. Look https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=236394#c3

Marcel, of course Qt4 model/view still todo...
