With the ability to make filter, rekonq becomes a good way to select a lot of links with particular properties.  This is great for downloading, but it also has other uses as well.  One use is that it lets you select a lot of links you would want to view in a web browser based on specific properties of those links.  So it would be nice if there was an option in kget to, instead of downloading the selected links, open them in the default we browser (or, if possible, the same web browser that sent kget the list of links in the first place).  

Downthemall, a firefox download manager, has this feature and I have found it very useful.
