Thanks for the report, this looks like bug 246747. But this bug only occurred in trunk and not in 4.5.0. Are you sure you are using the tagged 4.5.0 version? Yes I am very sure, look this: http://imagebin.ca/img/nwsi91.png http://imagebin.ca/img/7nvZwfo3.png and this: $ pacman -Ss kdebase-workspace extra/kdebase-workspace 4.5.0-2 (kde) [installed] KDE Base Workspace $ pacman -Ss kdebase-dolphin extra/kdebase-dolphin 4.5.0-1 (kde kdebase) [installed] File Manager Hm, I cannot reproduce the issue with 4.5.1. Is the bug reproducible to 100 % in your environment or does it occur only sometimes? When copying the file from one tab to the other: Did you release the mouse-button on the tab itself or did you wait until the tab got activated and you released the mouse-button in the view?
