this happens here very often if attachments are loaded on demand. sometimes - I believe opening it the first time - the attachment is usually available , accesssing it again it's emtpy - if it is "empty" all operations save and copy files with size 0 - if the mails is deleted, information is obviously lost. I suggested already once to keep/cache a local copy of downloaded attachments at least for a certain time - this would increase the perceived performance a lot - especially for mobile/remote users Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
