Version:           2.5 (using KDE 4.5.0) 
OS:                Linux

Since update to 4.5 from 4.5rc3 (kde-redhat rpms), when launching konsole the bash prompt is not visible. The cursor is correctly positioned however. First keypress or mouse click causes it to appear.

Reproducible: Always




OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33.6-147.2.4.fc13.x86_64

Can't reproduce it with KDE-4.7.0

Feel free to reopen if this still happens in recent version.
