Erik, you can't have Amarok 2.3.2, see my comment in the other bug, so I set it to 2.3.1.90 as I guess you talk about 2.3.2 beta, right? You should have a look at the Automatic Playlist Generator, I think that is what you are looking for. > Erik, you can't have Amarok 2.3.2, see my comment in the other bug, so I set it > to 2.3.1.90 as I guess you talk about 2.3.2 beta, right? > > You should have a look at the Automatic Playlist Generator, I think that is > what you are looking for. Not exactly. For one, I'd have to define the criteria for "favourite song" for each single playlist and also update it when e.g. I want to change the importance of rating and score. Having a criteria like "is in playlist foo" would already help a lot. Even then, I'd still have to create a playlist "In playlist foo & in playlist bar" for every combination I want to use. That's just a minor inconvenience, though. The first part is more important, I think. OK, thank you for your feedback. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 239951 *** Unless I've severely misunderstood the other bug, this is not a dupe. This is not about editing one playlist while using a different one but about enabling two playlists at once with amarok internally using a "virtual" playlist which contains the tracks that are present in both active playlists. |
