Description Jack Gurulian 2010-08-25 15:06:16 UTC
Version: 2.5 (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

On KDE 4.5 under View there is no option to temporarily switch profile. An example of why this is needed is when I want to run commands that I found on a website for example a transparent konsole is perfect because I can see through it but when I want to use vim or something transparency is disturbing me. So being able to easily switch profiles is a must for situations like that. That feature existed until KDE 4.4 but now it is gone.

Reproducible: Always

I found a way to change profile: right click in the konsole area (not the menus) -> switch profile. The thing is that when I am using vim and I have set mouse recognition, the right click does not work and so I can not switch. So the problem remains.
