Can you check if this is a duplicate of bug 248570 by hiding/moving/removing the panel? It is possible that the panel shadows affect window placement. Issue caused by Bug 248570. Windows are floating to the edge of the panel's shadow. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 248570 *** |
Created attachment 50914 [details] Notice the two windows on the left compared to the middle. Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0) OS: Linux Pre KDE SC 4.5, when I open multiple windows, they float to correct positions on the screen, leaving no others obscured. After upgrading to 4.5, windows slightly overlap one another. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open windows that fit exactly in the space allotted. Example: In a space that is 1048 pixels high, I open two 524 pixel windows, which used to float correctly to divide the screen in half. Now, one overlaps the other by nearly 6 pixels. Expected Results: The windows should not obscure or overlap one another.
