Description Felix Wolfsteller 2010-08-23 12:18:17 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

In "KDE Tasks" (Version 4:4.5~20100813.1163254-1maemo1.1164259), for a "New Task", categories can be selected in an "dialog" that opens through the "Select" Button in the "More..." flap.

Within this "dialog", the "Edit Categories" and "Help" buttons can be touched and provide feedback, but nothing obvious happens.

Also, the "Apply" button seems to be redundant - there is no "Cancel", just "Apply/OK".

Interestingly, when categories are selected (say, "Appointment" and "Birthday") and one touches outside of the "dialog" (in lack of a "cancel" button), the choices are not reflected in the flap. On the other hand, if previously selected choices are deslected and one touches outside of the dialog, the modified choice is stored (at least they dissappear in the flap).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start KDE Tasks, touch "New Task", open the "More..." flap, touch the "Select" Button, touch "Help, Edit Categories".

The corresponding page for Appointments (in KDE Calendar) seems to work better (does not have these buttons).

Strange, those buttons shouldn't be visible. Especially when taking in account that they aren't visible in the Calendar app because both app use exactly the same code for this dialog.

Please let me know if you still encounter this problem with a version of kdepim >= r1133772

Indeed these buttons are gone, version 4:4.5~20101008.1183623-1maemo1.1182955 .
