Description Jesse Milette 2010-08-21 17:17:35 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

I have noticed that randomly power devil will "freeze" and not switch power profiles when I unplug/plug in my power adapter. Logging out/and back in fixes it until powerdevil decides to "freeze" again. Restarting powerdevil's service in kde service manager does not help.
NOTE: when I unplug/plug in my adapter the battery plasmoid correctly displays whether the laptop is plugged in or not.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Use kde for a while; suspend/resume a few times and switch power profiles a bunch. Eventually it will happen...

Actual Results:
power devil does not respond to the laptop being plugged in, unplugged or the battery reaching warning/critical levels.

Expected Results:
power devil should not freeze.
