select some text and then switch to the other application, kwrite or kate would lost the selection text.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open kate, or kwite
2.input some text
3.select some text
4.alt+tab switch to the other application
5.replication 4.

the other problem
1. open kate or kwite
2. input some text
3. find some word existed
4. find one and press esc and then the selected text lost

Actual Results:  
the selected text lost

Expected Results:  
keep selection, and the selected text not lost
