I'm not actually running anything that uses the Akonadi IMAP resources, but they are set to check for new messages at regular intervals.

Occasionally, this crash happens.  The imap resource is at r1164823.  kdepimlibs is at r1163366.  This happened both before and after r1164249.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

Of course, having said that I now no longer get this crash...

This time I did have KMail open in the background.

Two of the resources crashed: both were pointing at the same server, but at different accounts.

akonadi_imap_resource (0.1) on KDE Platform 4.5.68 (4.6 >= 20100912) "release 4" using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Similar to the above report, the imap resource crashes periodically in the background.

- Custom settings of the application:

This is trunk KDE/KDEPIM from the OpenSUSE trunk repositories, version 4.5.68svn1174542, with Qt 4.7rc1. I've had these periodic crashes with the svn versions since the akonadi mail migration (more specifically since non-UIDPLUS was implemented).

The server is non-UIDPLUS, Exchange 2007, connected with TLS, configured offline, with specific subscribed folders.

The only other interesting tidbit is other IMAP clients often see completely blank messages at or near the top of the message list, these have no recipient, sender or subject, and a single textual attachment. This seems to be an artifact of the Enterprise Vault addon product.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

akonadi_imap_resource (0.1) on KDE Platform 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1) using Qt 4.7.0

The resource crashed in the background after I reconfigured the check mail interval for my imap google account. KMail doesn't start up at all but from the Akonadi Console I can see the mail - provided the resource isn't trying to refresh itself.

I attached the info here - although I am unsure if it's really related, I don't want to spam with duplicates either... The kmail install is from openSUSE, their 4.5-branch, latest packages on KDE:Unstable (4.4.93)/
