My addressbook is the std.vcf file. In this case kaddressbook only displays "<given name> <family name>". I cannot add other entries in the view.

Update:

When enabling any other field suddenly all selected fields reappear. But I still cannot display the family name and given name in separate columns and sort e.g. by the family name.

Hej,

there might still be issues when using KAddressBook from 4.4 and KDE from 4.5, however when you use both versions from 4.5 (no packages available yet), then it works fine. You can activate the given name and family name column by right clicking on the column header and then you can move the columns via drag&drop to the preferred order.
