Description Leonardo 2010-08-15 15:58:36 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

I had set device notifier to automount my internal drives at log on. Since they are six (partitions) and I quickly got bored of typing my password six times each time I log (having to insert it just once could be a wish request in itself) I unchecked the drives in the configuration panel. Still, device notifier tries to mount them at log time. I doublechecked and I tried to check them again, confirm, uncheck and confirm again to see if it was just a one time glitch but I had no luck. I'm now stuck with six requesters that I have to cancel each time I log (Esc key does not cancel them but I think this is more a QT issue). On a side note, the configuration panel starts too short and have to resized every time since it just shows the upper half of the name of the first drive. I've not opened another bug/wish because I don't know if the size depends on upstream or downstream.

Leonardo Salerno

Reproducible: Always

Ok, this is related to the device automounter¸ assigning to the right component
