Sorry, but your backtrace is not useful, as you are lacking debugging symbols. If you can reproduce this bug, please check here on how to get a valid backtrace: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Make sure you install all debugging packages for Pulseaudio, gstreamer and Phonon. I'll try pushing an updated gstreamer0.10-plugins-good to Mandriva Spring's main/testing repository and then ask you to rest again Richard. While I'm pretty sure this is a duplicative, I'll keep it separate just now due to the s/n ratio on the other bug :) If the tests prove successful, I'll mark this as a dupe and hopefully get the same test results form the wider community on the other bug. Fingers crossed as this is an annoying bug :( I meant "test again" rather than "rest again". :p Richard, I'll ask you to test a custom build which you'll have to install separately as there is an update pending right now on that package for a different problem. I'll post instructions in due course. Right, actually, I take by my previous comment. I've now pushed the patched version to main/testing for Mandriva 2010.1 Spring. This version can be installed by typing: urpmi.update test urpmi --searchmedia test --auto-select There will be other packages selected automatically in that list too, so if in doubt, just look for the relevant package names and redo the second command replacing the "--auto-select" part with the relevant names. Make sure you install all gstreamer related packages. It may take a while to reach your mirror, so probably best to do this in several hours or tomorrow. If you could then report back to let me know if this update helps with regards to this bug, that would be great. The version your are looking for is gstreamer0.10-plugins-good 0.10.22-1.1.3-mdv2010.1 (there are several sub-packages all with this same version number) Thanks. I meant "I take back my previous comment" above.... I seem to be making numerous typos today :( (In reply to comment #2) > Hi , > is that enough for you , following report ? > Thread 1 (Thread 0x7fb52c410720 (LWP 1275)): > [KCrash Handler] > #5 0x00007fb51fe74c59 in ?? Dr. Konqi normally allows you to automatically add the missing debugging symbols and also tells you with a set of stars at the top right if a backtrace is useful. Hi Colin , I have install the "gstreamer0.10-plugins-good" package. The new report is this . But I think that many information are missing. It is a bug in the Alsa subsystem when using the GStreamer phonon backend. Merging. Thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 232068 *** reassigning to the new bugzilla product for better bug tracing of the various backends. Sorry for the noise. |
