Sentry Crash Report:

Description Russ Fineman 2010-08-14 19:47:18 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

Is I save a list in KMail in an addressbook, it shows up under contacts and can be used successfully. If I make a change to the contact or add a new contact in Contacts that I want to add to the list, Only way I have found is to delete old list and create new one in Kmail. Contact does not update the saved list and no method in Kmail to update the list.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select New Message in Kmail. The use Select Button to add recipients. The use Save List Button, name List, click save list, will ask for name of addressbook to save list in, click save after picking addresssbook.

Then go to Contacts and update one of the entries in the saved group, never gets updated in Kmail, but sometimes puts blank entry in, other times no update. In Kmail no option to update list.

Actual Results:
No change to List, need to delete and re-enter list

Expected Results:
List to be updated or at least an option to update in Kmail.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
