This is way way longer than what I see here, it could be a side-effect of the resource duplication bug. I retested this today and indeed it is a lot better now: If Akonadi server is not already launched: - After 09s the 'Kontact Mobile' screen appears - After 45s Kmail-mobile main window appears If Akonadi server is already launched: - After 10s the 'Kontact Mobile' screen appears - After 22s Kmail-mobile main window appears So I think this bug is fixed now. N900, 4:4.5~20100922.1178352-1maemo1.1177763 I retested this today because I noticed that the launching time had gone up again and indeed it is nearly as bad as when I reported the bug in the first place: If Akonadi server is not already launched: - After 9s the 'Kontact Mobile' screen appears - After 1 min and 05s Kmail-mobile main window appears If Akonadi server is already launched: - After 18s the 'Kontact Mobile' screen appears - After 32s Kmail-mobile main window appears I'll retest this one when bug #246584 is fixed.
