Description Sabine Faure 2010-08-13 00:13:06 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

After having created an Imap resource successfully and after closing Kmail-mobile, a pop up dialogue asking for the password again is displayed.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Configure an Imap resource
- Close Kmail-mobile
- Launch Kmail- mobile again

Actual Results:
A 'Password - Akonadi Resource' pop dialogue appears asking the user to enter his password again.

Once the user enters his password again he can access Kmail-mobile main window and see his local folder and Imap resource in the Folder view.

Expected Results:
This should not happen since the user already entered the password when configuring the Imap resource.

N900 Packages, Svn Rev 1159743

Note: This does not happen always but to improve you chances of reproducting this bug keep closing and relaunch Kmail-mobile.

I am setting this bug as High priority since in 1 hour I had to renter my password 5 times!

This has not happened in a while so I am verifying this bug for now.

I will reopen if it starts happening again.

Although this seems to be a separate issue (because you reported that it happens fewer times now), I resolve as duplicate of another bug that deals with password caching.

Please close this one if appropriate.
