Can't confirm. Could you please check your file associations for the SVG mimetype? I have not changed it at all, but it says:
image/svg+xml:
General:
*.svg
SVG image
Image Viewer [first]
Embedding:
Use settings for 'image' group
Svg Part (svgpart)
image/svg+xml-compressed
same.
Upgraded to KDE 4.6.2 and this still does not work.
SVG File associations at default values:
image/svg+xml:
Use settings for 'image' group
(Image says "Show file in embedded viewer")
Svg Part (svgpart)
(also tried khtml and katepart)
I just noticed that the settings for File Associations explicitly says:
File Management -> File Associations
(which does not really apply to the problem here) and
"Left click action in Konqueror"
(which is also not the problem here.)
I don't believe that this has anything to do with file associations.
Left clicking on an svg file while using Konqueror as a file browser
works perfectly.
The problem here is viewing the attached html file which embeds an svg. When loading the html file in Konqueror, all I see is the word "and"
