In previous versions of KDE the flag in the systemtray for the keyboard layout showed the label in the flag which can be specified in the keyboard layout setting in the Layout tab.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start System settings -> Hardware -> Input devices -> Keyboard -> Layouts
Activate Configure Layouts and Add two layouts with Labels; I use US (Label=us) and US with Variant international (Label=usi). Also activate Show Layout indicator and Show flag. Login again and in the systemtray you will find the flag of the Keyboard Layout. However this flag used to have, in white letters, the Label, which is no longer there.

Actual Results:  
Flag without label.

Expected Results:  
Flag with label
