This looks like a crash with either xine or the libavcodec video decoding library itself, not with phonon. dragon (2.0) on KDE Platform 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1) using Qt 4.7.0
- What I was doing when the application crashed: I clic to open Dragon player. I clic on "Read a file". I clic on the file (xxx.wmv). Dragon Player to close. I have Dragon Player version 2.0 (KDE 4.5.1). Excuse me, I am french, my english is very limited. Cordially.

In open-suse 11.3 - i tried opening a video-file from microsoft partition (xp). Kaffeine crashed 2 sec after opening the file - every i tried . VlC -player has no problem doing the same. Thanks ! William

Je ne parle ni allemand, ni anglais, ce qui est, je le reconnais volontier, un handicap quand on utilise Linux. Désolé de vous ennuyer avec mon problème de son, mais je l'ai résolu en supprimant Dragon Player pour le remplacer par VLC Media Player. Je suis nul en anglais et je ne sais pas comment annoncer sur le forum que mon problème est résolu. J'ai essayé de le faire, mais cela n'a pas l'air d'avoir fonctionné car je continu à recevoir des mails à ce sujet. En ce qui concerne Kubuntu, mon fils et moi avons eu plusieurs plantages inexpliqués sur nos ordinateurs respectifs. Nous avons donc abandonné Kubuntu 10.10 pour revenir à Ubuntu 10.10. Depuis, tout fonctionne sans problème, sauf le lecteur de disquette qui ne voit pas la disquette et annonce "Impossible de monter l'emplacement, aucun media dans le lecteur". Pouvez m'indiquer comment annoncer sur le forum que mon problème est résolu? Merci d'avance. Cordialement.
