When I go to print my jobs just go to pending and never print

Your bug report has ZERO information about your hardware and software. Please provide that, otherwise no one will be able to fix your issue.

Actually this is almost certainly a CUPS issue, print-applet just displays the status that cups tells it to.  Closing bug.
