Kris, do you know anything about this one? This is a new one to me, not seeing it anywhere else that I'm aware of. Did this error occur at the very first boot or did you get a chance to use the desktop a bit before this started happening? According to the duplicates, the issue seems to pop up quite randomly -- someone was finishing booting the system, someone else was opening the PC-BSD Users Handbook and a third one was PC-BSD's Software and Updates tool. It'd be nice if someone who's experienced this crash could answer Kris here. (In reply to comment #6) > This is a new one to me, not seeing it anywhere else that I'm aware of. The very first thing I did was open up PC-BSD Update manager from the dock on the taskbar. The crash happened as it tried to open a web browser to show the details of an update I had selected. The frame of the window showed which I moved toward the edge of the screen quickly so I could still see the update application. At that moment (before any contents appeared) it crashed/came up with the crash reporter doobilacker. in my case... everytime i run konqueror :( *** Bug 259122 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 265043 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 269834 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Seems to be fixed in recent FreeBSD releases, closing. |
