Same problem here. Probably triggered by the unnecessary long credits line "Mit freundlicher Unterstützung ..." at the bottom of the plasmoid. *** Bug 250368 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I'm seeing this with the dejavu font. When using the narrower liberation or droid fonts it displays fine. Seems like it's not considering the font metrics correctly when computing the width Created attachment 52262 [details]

*** Bug 255788 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I can confirm this on one of my machines, where the weather plasmoid is part of a newspaper activity. Dennis: which version can you confirm that with? At that time I was at Ubuntu 11.10, which means it was KDE 4.7. I am currently at Ubuntu 12.04 and KDE 4.8.2 and do not see the issue at the moment. Will reopen if the issue reappears. Thank you for the fast feedback. |
Created attachment 49682 [details] Screenshot showing the geometry issues of the weather applet Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.95) OS: Linux The weather applet has some rendering/geometry issues. The content overlaps at the right border and the background isn't resized accordingly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.) Add the weather applet to your desktop 2.) Open the configuration dialog 3.) Use 'stuttgart' as search term 4.) Apply the settings Actual Results: See attached screenshot. Expected Results: The background is resized accordingly to the larger content or the content is rendered in a way that it fits the size of the background box.
