Description H.H. 2010-07-28 14:58:59 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

This is a variant for the wish for bookmarks. I often use dolphin for work with files, and I often have 3-5 tabs open in completely different directories. When I open dolphin and would manually restore such a session, it would take me 1-2 minutes everytime.

Reproducible: Didn't try

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-12-desktop
Compiler: gcc

save multiple tabs

I have commented out the code for saving even split views. I tried the code but, when a tab with split view was restored, the url was set for secondaryview but the view was not updated.

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719

I think this is a great idea. I created a KDE Brainstorm for it here: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=120181

It would also be awesome if dolphin could restore the previous session after a crash. I do not know if this should be here or in another bug report.

Hi,

A JANARDHAN REDDY, how do i apply your patch? Could you give me some basic help please? i've tried googling etc, but just lead me down 10 diff' paths (pun intended!).
If it helps i'm running Arch Linux, with KDE 5 Plasma. any help or pointing in the right direction would be really great...

Best regards.

It looks like it's possible now and working.

You are right. You now can store "bookmark-folders".
