It would be nice if there were an option for opening Krunner when the mouse bumps the upper screen edge, similar to that when opening a hidden panel.

By the way, what is the correct component for filing Krunner bugs? Just General?

I guess it could be possible to include "start krunner" as one of the Active Screen edge Actions from the control panel

This would be a very useful feature, yes. It would be great if it were available as one of the options in the Screen Edges KCM.

Thanks, Thomas, re-assigning to kwin as that's the one handling the screen corners.

KWin dudes: KRunner can be brought up by calling
    org.kde.krunner /App org.kde.krunner.App.display

Add KRunner and Activity Manager screen edge

Allows to toggle Activity Manager and bring up KRunner by hitting the configured screen edge.
