Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux

Encrypted volume through the LUKS format can be a partition based volume, but also a file based volume. With Dolphin, we can mount and umount a partition based volume, but we can't mount and umount a file based volume.

Some user cases wich need a file based volume:
- open easily an encrypted volume from another people who chose a file based volume
- share easily an encrypted volume between Linux and Windows (because you can't make windows able to manage multi partition USB key without admin rights and a very dirty trick, and because Windows need FreeOTFE to mount an encrypted volume in LUKS format, so...)

Reproducible: Didn't try
