Description niburu1 2010-07-27 15:10:33 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

Powerdevil thinks that the computer is idle when media is playing through e.g. Amarok, VLC, and Dragon Player. E.g. if one is running a power scheme that suspends to RAM after x min. of idle time, the computer will suspend to RAM after x min. if there is no user input even though media playback is occurring.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Playback media in e.g. Dragon Player, Amarok or VLC.
2. Set powerdevil to turn off the screen when the computer is idle for more than 1 min.
3. Wait 1 min. without user (e.g. keyboard or mouse) input.

Actual Results:
The screen is turned off after 1 minute.

Expected Results:
Nothing happens. Music continues playing and the screen stays on.
