Version: 2.3.1 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

In Amarok 1.4 I was using Meta + numpad key to control Amarok.
Now these hotkeys do not work, neither with Amarok window active nor not.
Also combinations of Alt+Shift+numbers do not work (Alt+!, Alt+@, ...)

However there is no problem binding these Meta+ and Alt+Shift+ combination in the configuration window.

Other combinations seem to work, though I did not tested them all.

Reproducible: Always

What desktop and window manager do you use? I can't reproduce this here using KDE SC 4.4.92 with KWin on Kubuntu 10.04.

I use KDE 4.4.4 with KWin - default installation from Debian testing (Squeeze).

It seems to be a khotkeys bug, because Alt+Shift+number combination does not work for me also in KWin shortcuts.
Maybe it was fixed there in some release after 4.4.4?

I doubt that, as it always worked here. Maybe something is wrong in your installation, but anyway, this doesn't belong to Amarok. Reassigning.
