It would be nice if CMakeLists.txt enables users to select what plugins they want, especially for export plugins.

Why ? there is no reason to disable it one by one at compilation time, since you can disable/enable each plugin in kipi host application config dialog

And you can easily remove the subdirectory entries you don't want to build...
