Description Roman Fietze 2010-07-23 09:12:05 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

The old print dialog allowed an easy selection of the current page or a list of pages and page ranges, e.g. using 1-4,6,8,10-12

The new applet does no longer allow this, which is a big step backwards. The new print icon is of course Qt-made, but if the Qt dialog offers so much less (e.g. like still not properly handling duplex) it simply must not be must unless it offers the requested funtionality, which of course has be not less than the old version.

I did not mark this bug an enhancement, because if something is missing that worked before is a (minor) bug.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Have to call the print dialog multiple times. Together with the bug that it doesn't set up duplex printing properly, this is very cumbersome.

Expected Results:
Usability at least as KDE3.
