Pretty much the same happened to me, as in the "Possible duplicates by query" bugs below
With a side panel:
Trying to add a widget, I browsed the categories and tried to use the up and down controls to move between the widgets, and it crashed, aperently without moveing even once.
This was after a series of successfully adding and removing applets.
