Reading your bug description it seems you expect it to stop after each track... isn't that the exact contrary what you ask for initially? FWIW, this is backend related, which Phonon backend do you use? I got actual and expected backwards, of course I expect Amarok to advance. I use the VLC backend, with DirectShow the buttons work fine. Now I sort of confused this bug and #245244 (which I think is related to this one). I can't actually test this with the other backends as mplayer freezes Amarok and DirectShow doesn't play anything. Thank you for the feedback. This is a backend problem, reassigning.
