when playing with amarok I came to a point where when clicking play started to play a song with no sound and a popup said that jack was not available.

I then started jack server and pressed play again in amarok. Then it crashed.

We suggest the phonon-backend-xine for Amarok, so far it gives the best results. Make sure to install the kubuntu-restricted-extras to have all the necessary codecs
