Hej, can you still reproduce this bug with the current release candidate? And do you use the recommended version of the Akonadi server? Ciao, Tobias Created attachment 49797 [details]

Hej, can't reproduce the crash itself anymore but the Nepomuk Fehlermeldung still comes on every startup. Please see screenshots attached. Hej, this error message comes up when Strigi can not load the nepomukbackend plugin. Can you check please whether $KDEDIR/lib/strigi contains a file strigiindex_nepomukbackend.so and 'ldd $KDEDIR/lib/strigi/strigiindex_nepomukbackend.so' doesn't report any missing dependencies? Ciao, Tobias hej, found /lib/strigi but there`s no strigiindex_nepomukbackend.so. Tried to solve this by switching Akonadi, Soprano, Virtuoso, Strigi -packages from Unstable:Playground to KDE:Unstable:/SC/openSUSE_11.2 but it didn`t made it. ciao Christian Hej, we have identified this bug now. In a recent change the nepomukbackend plugin has been removed but the nepomuk_feeder_agent still tries to load it. We are working on a solution together with the nepomuk maintainer. Ciao, Tobias I'm running into this error with 4.6.0-beta2... Is this supposed to be fixed? probably fixed with 4.8. Please retry with a RC or when 4.8.0 is out and mark this report as resolved KDE Platform Version: 4.7.97 (4.8 RC2 (4.7.97) "release 1" Qt Version: 4.8.0 Operating System: Linux 2.6.37.6-0.9-default i686 Distribution: "openSUSE 11.4 (i586)" for me it is fixed with 4.8. |
