Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4) 
OS:                Linux

For 30 seconds... and then the notification area shows wrong info about the copy/paste status even if the copy operation finishes the notification area shows there's some 'operation' going on but not what operation.

This issue is very frequent and make KDE almost unusable.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Problem resolves if you remove the copy paste notification from the system tray.

I have the same problem with KDE SC 4.5.1 on openSUSE 11.3.

This was suppose to be a 'bug fix' release.

Honestly I think the KDE team should solely fix bugs for 6 months... nothing else.

- Are you still experiencing this issue with KDE SC 4.5.3 ?
- Does this happen with any kind of file operation and protocol ?
- How would you define "KDE hangs" ? Does the Plasma desktop hangs and it is unresponsible ? Can you still move the windows ? Can you still work in other KDE (or non KDE) applications ?

I've not tried yet (I'm currently on Gnome, I'll be back to KDE soon).

By hang I mean all KDE applications including dolphin.

This problem does not persist anymore.
