Description Mickaël 2010-07-11 19:09:40 UTC
Version: 0.5
OS: Linux

It cannot take a screenshot of a part of a contextual menu (in Dolphin), I chose delaying (to have time to access the submenu I want), zone selection : but after delimiting the zone a press on Enter keeps without effect, so I cannot take a screenshot. I can also right-click to select another zone, but Escape has no effect (I cannot exit KSnapShot ! I had to go to another console and kill it).

Delay and zone work perfectly if I don't open any contextual menu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just try to take a screenshot of a contextual menu in Dolphin.

Actual Results:
Cannot take the screenshot, cannot escape, blocked.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

Use double click instead of Return.
To escape your situation: Ctrl+Alt+Esc click

Hum, yeah :)

But the message still says "press Enter or Escape"...

I came across the same problem. My solution: Take the full screen with delay and crop later. Pressing "Prt Sc" key does not react with a context menu open. Neither in GTK apps.

Please fix so people can take screenshots painlessly for forum/documentation...
