I have the same problem with Intel HD Audio. It seems hotplug detection may be beyond the hopes of implementation. I've found a workaround to the problem, to at least manually mute the speakers. Install gnome-volume-control from the GNOME desktop environment and use it instead. I don't see that this is a bug. Besides, your card might not support that under Linux. As this is not a KMix bug, I will close this bug report. Should this not reflect the facts (e.g alsamixer works, but KMix does not work), please add another comment and/or reopen this bug report. |
