Description Unknown 2010-07-11 00:45:05 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

It used to be a nice feature that I can scroll in the current track with Shift+Wheel on the Amarok icon in the system tray.
Now with all the modifier keys I can adjust the volume only.

Qt: 4.6.3
KDE Development Platform: 4.4.92 (KDE 4.4.92 (KDE 4.5 RC2)) "release 2"
Amarok: 2.3-GIT

Reproducible: Always

Modifiers don't work with the new system tray icon class from KDE 4.4, which we support now (it does the hover animation and more).

So we had to sacrifice modifier support for KStatusNotifierItem, sorry :)

Here is the report of this issue: Bug 251054

Now, after many-many years, with the lack of these modifier keys and the song status display, the tray icon became as every other app's icon: indicating that program is running and is good for nothing else.

I hope you reintroduce these features soon :)
