Description Michal Bryxí 2010-07-10 14:49:50 UTC
Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

After suspending to ram my notebook and waking it up really stupid message appears. It doesn't provide any useful information whatsoever.
 - What happened?
 - How can I send the bug report?

I newer saw this dialog in any other situation than in the suspend-to-ram described above. So I think it's really useless. If you really need it here, please do not make it as message box. It's really annoying to have to click on ok every time I wake up my machine. Do it as a message through knotify.

But perfect solution would be to wait for bug (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244124) to be implemented. It's about powerdevil notifying applications that computer is going to sleep. Kopete should disconnect from all protocols before computer goes to sleep.

Reproducible: Always

As #244124 was implemented I bump for this bug to be fixed.

I don't think this is an issue anymore.
