I have the exact same issue. Grey graph overlapping the widget to the right. KDE 4.5.5 Gentoo Linux Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.8.3 or later. |

Grey rectangle that overlaps battery is apparently temperature graph. I do not see any way to configure it either on or off. Panel obviously has too little space for everything; I think offering more information (like graph) on tooltip or popup would be better. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Just configure system temperature monitor on the panel.
